Why are black on blacks at any length a no-no and white on whites good money? Is it just a Northeast thing or a generally accepted rule amongst AF1 heads?

Nike ids are here.
Pretty on point. Looks nice in person. Materials are stiff and there's little ankle padding. I was surprised the flat silver on the outsole and wolf grey on the swoosh are basically the same shade. The Air part on the midsole is a little darker gray. Anthracite is a nice touch instead of the regular black imo.

It’s a NY thing but I wouldn’t say they’re a complete no-no it’s just that there’s nothing like a fresh pair of all white ups. Tooo clean
