there’s nothing wrong with the shoe I think you and others just don’t respect yachty which is fine
more than anything his logo holds no allure or wearable value
I’m not a fan of his either
I wouldn’t wear the shoe but it looks totally fine
just like I’d never wear travis scotts, I just don’t care for buddy at all

If those yachtys didn’t have any of his branding and were just a decent shape/quality af1 in that cw with the oval dubrae would be a pickup for me, no question.

Speaking of collaborations. Will the Nelly x AF1 get a retro? Also, will Nike released a DJ Clark AF1 or retro one of his past shoes?

I would love to see the AF1 get this type of attention again but honestly the culture has moved on to some extent. Idk if the younger generation views the AF1 the same.
Yachty is obviously an exception but dude is a true sneaker head so of course he gets it.
I'd love to see a Star Trak AF1. Nigo already collabing with Nike so it'd be cool to see something from P as well (obviously would be hard due to his current relationship with Adidas).

They changed the listing of the pairs everyone bought to (non numbered)
Now there’s a separate listing for the (numbered) pairs which are going for way more.
They did not have the first listing as non numbered until after everyone bought. I even have the email receipt showing it didn’t say ‘non numbered’
I’d never pay $260 plus fees for a non numbered pair. They really tryna finesse, this is crazy.

Bro NGL I went and bought a pair just cause of this lmao. It was hilarious. But at the same time the shoes are fire quality. Very basic but def a premium AF. I don’t think people should be crapping on a product either. It’s simple to say it’s not for me vs trying to destroy someone’s credibility. Dude went a lil extra on yachty too that he didn’t need to do.

I like the purple and blue NOCTA joints. Think I will get rid of my white pair in favor if one or both of the other 2 if they go on sale... don't see there being a high demand after the year he's had, lol.

There's so many people I wanna see get an AF1 collab, but I'll name 5 mostly new choices.
The Usos (a WWE Tag Team that wrestle almost exclusively in Forces, like maybe something based on the samoan tattoos that they and most of their family has?!?)
Bisa Butler (one of the best african american artists today, she's got a specific style that would look dope on shoes IMO)
Concepts (I don't think they have done an AF1 yet....and I'm sure whatever they cook would be something we wouldn't see coming)
AFEW (a store that always knock their collabs out of the park, but they've usually worked with brands that keep pairs far too limited)
....lastly would be someone that has a pair but it's been awhile: Mister Cartoon! It's been a minute, I bet he could make something just as good as his OG works.

I still think he just doesn’t have the notoriety to start with a release such as this
it would’ve worked better if his crew/label was making noise and people held his company/logo in a high regard
but i could see him having some crazier releases soon
