everything from the 25th anniversary is worth somewhere between 0 and negative 25 US dollars.
Not True…. Kids on Skid Row needs kicks tooLol what your saying is no one wants them. That's about what I figured
Yep, they all over eBay
Any stores online still selling the Flax AF1 Mids close to retail? I need a size 10/10.5.
There were indeed two releases for 2002 Year of the Horse -- the first time there was an AF1 for the Chinese zodiac. (A simple Google search will tell you that.)Alright got these 2 throwback YOTH's a couple weeks ago and i really just looked at them now and realize the boxes r 2 different sizes and that the production dates are very close, is it true they put out 2 different YOTH's back in 02???(i cant see them doing that) Im not too that experience with airs before '03. I know most fakes come in smaller boxes with no play in between the shoes so im really skeptical on the one pair that came in the smaller box and i also dont want to look past the other pair of YOTH's (white n red) that i got from the seller too. IMO i think the patent ones r fake cuz came in the smaller box, the inner tag is stitched over on both shoes, i think nike was still producing in indonesia in 02(like the white n red YOTH pair), the word "AIR" on the midsole i feel is different.
Can anyone verify both these for me?
Yes i know it looks as if someone probably painted some parts of the midsole
what were the other limited kicks?Just picked up Flax's. For retail. I walk into a Jimmy Jazz and they had like 5 pair of limited sneakers that never sold. It was between the Flax ones and doubling up on the black white jordan 1s. Think I made the right call?
Kobe snake skins, black and white 1s, infrared 6s, dunk crocodile dundees and the whole flax collection. Downtown Brooklyn on Fulton Mallwhat were the other limited kicks?
k good lookin. All them kicks are dope, especially those dunks in person.Kobe snake skins, black and white 1s, infrared 6s, dunk crocodile dundees and the whole flax collection. Downtown Brooklyn on Fulton Mall
i think it was popular back then but not that crazy like it used to be and is now. Im just thrown off by the box size on the patent leather ones, im thinking to myself.. why would the box be smaller if they were put out the same year as the white n red ones? The leather on the white n red ones feel like that buttery leather but i still dont want to opt out on those being fakes because obviously this person doesnt know their stuff (its a lady and i think she's selling her husband or sons collection or somethibg lol). There were indeed two releases for 2002 Year of the Horse -- the first time there was an AF1 for the Chinese zodiac. As for authenticity, I'm no expert. The stitching on the red swoosh does not closely follow the edge of the swoosh, and the "HORSE" lettering is crooked. But those might have been Nike quality problems, not indicators that they're fakes. Was AF1 counterfeiting a big problem in early 2000's?
smh. One time a pair of Nike AF2 hi that I bought off eBay came with a Thank-you note from the female seller thanking me for buying her boyfriend's old shoes and mentioning that it was really hard for him to part with them. Why do women do this?!

Box size may not indicate fakes. A friend in retail (not sneaker retail) told me that boxes and labels get shipped separately from the shoes to brick&mortar stores, and they get packed and labeled at the store. So the sneakers might still be legit -- the store could have just run short on the larger boxes.
Damn. Musta been one of the last pairs sorry broI just tried calling the store and they said they don't have any af1 mids left, only lows I need my 9
