How do you guys store your DS af1’s for the long run? From keeping them from yellowing (if that ever happens), if they ever crumble, etc.

Ziploc bag to prevent dust, and depending on color/materials of the shoe, keep em out of sunlight and heat as much as possible.

Keeping ds for long period isn’t the best thing to do tho.

Back in the old days when I had a huge collection I had a storage unit and used just about every trick I came across online to try and lengthen their lifespans…Eventually came to the realization that the best deterrent is simply wearing the damn things…Aside from that, a dark temp controlled storage area is about all you’ll need, everything else is just fluff…

Nowadays I store them in the box as is…That’s essentially it for me…I limit myself to what I’ll wear right now and specifically 20-ish pairs max at any given time…Anything more than that and it’s time to move some pairs…Won’t let myself get numbers in the multiple hundreds ever again…**** is exhausting

20 pairs…. Man. Really need to be able to do that.

It’s liberating…Took me years to get it done…For me at least, having a few pairs at any given time let me really be able to focus on and enjoy them…Was far better than having hundreds of pairs just to say I had them…Helped me find my passion for it again honestly…

I’ve had a year or two where I got rid of probably close to 50+ pairs, and only bought a few. Felt nice. Next couple years I made up for it.

It does get frustrating seeing all my pairs, knowing I’ll only get a handful of wears before they fall apart.
