There used to be subtle, slight differences. The edges of the leather were rolled instead of raw like the Highs. Jumpman on the tongue and heel. Minus the tongue, it looks like they've gotten away from that now that the Mids are hot. Honestly? Having pairs of both through the years, if there IS a difference in quality, it's pretty minimal.

i tend to find the leather of highs softer than mids which allows them to “break-in” quicker, at least from my experience.

mid leather is usually trash unless they are a special or collab. they use that fake leather with the grain stamped on it. highs use high grain leather.
