talked it up with a dude in store yesterday and told me locally people barely sign up for raffles around here
but hes in a new store and they dont got retros yet. im thinking im gonna cop them chicago 1's easily around here and hopefully at his store.

Shadows were such as easy cop. All the Beasts were after the toro 4s. I just went to a local mum and pop store and I think I was the only person in the line to buy just the shadows on the release day

I made the mistake of waiting around for shadows when they were on the bay for 200 then outta nowhere they skyrocketed still trying to figure out why

Shoot, in my case, I was newly "not homeless" and living in a half way house. If the shoe cost more than $30 I probably didn't have it between 2010-2013
I worked hard to get my 1 Collection, and most came after release. You don't know circumstances, remember, it's just shoes, and though we might own the shoe, we don't OWN the shoe

I remember being on the fence at first. I ran around missing my size at local spots on release day but copped like 4 random size pair. The next day i nabbed my size on ebay for 170 shipped. Love the shoe. I sold the other pairs and didnt get much out of em. I only wanted to cut the cost of my pickup. Should of sat on em a bit lol.

I think you guys are childish for calling new people who got into 1s "hypebeast". Im not going to lie my first pair of ones since the barons home back in 08 were actually the black and whites last year and ever since then i fell back in love with 1s, i don't even like any other jays since they feel like space boots to me but 1s feel great just like the dunks that I've been used to buying, i just regret not getting into 1s sooner because of all these expensive *** prices, i don't mind though i got the dough.

i think the white tongue looks good on B/Ws and black toes. my only issue being they are more likely/easier to get dirty vs. a black tongue.

low key thinking for buying a 2nd pair of B\W and doing a reverse black toe custom. Dye the whole tongue black or red. Nike air tag colored black. Ehh still in works so far.Quick PS of Black/White W/Black Tongue
