Vegas 1s are better quality than banneds, but it is at least comparable...
best leather quality on any jordan i own BY FAR

Weve gone over this in this thread before.
leather isnt even in the same league as any of the newer 1s...its lightyears ahead in terms of quality, srs...you can easily see, feel, and smell the difference...its not even close

I remember when I first Unds my pair of Vegas 1s I couldn't believe how strong of a smell the leather was.

The quality on the DC's is INCREDIBLE... Sad that these pretty much sat because they werent given the NA treatment (I ironically live in DC and these went on discount everywhere).

Here is an on feet pic of my pair:

they didn't sit because of no NA treatement...

They sat because of that terrible rainbow looking print all over the shoe... Sorry bruh, awesome leather wont save terrible color blocking...

I dunno not sure if I would go this far.  As far as leather quality, I still think Banneds are > anything else.  Closest thing to Banneds are maybe 2009 Shadows.

I'd say Vegas 1's > any of the 2013 OG releases.  2015 remastered 1's have got to be better than Vegas 1.  I've struck out on Frags/Chicagos so I can't compare. 

 

i only got a gs pair of the 2015, and havent seen the mens pair but im pretty sure its not going to be comparable to vegas 1 leather quality...id guess its more comparable to 2013 and 2014 og 1 quality...i know its got better leather than those but still comparable...vegas and banned are in a different class. Like i said not even close Ive got shadows, black toes, knicks, royals (sold), black gum, both lms, celtics, blk/ white...and none is comparable to the vegas. Its too bad...i still love all the newer og 1s im not trying to be a hater, just wish they used that REAL premium leather though...

I still plan on doing a custom on the DCs by painting the toe box, swoosh and heel white. Just never had the time to get to it

I thought about this but to be honest, it would look doper if you did it on a pair of Laney 1s even though it might be more work since you'd have to do a tongue swap and paint the toebox/toe area

Yikes that is A LOT more work but, you have a point, there is none of that "film" print on the Laneys...

Just to clarify, I was asking about the Black and white RTTG not the "DC"...and I do agree the DC is a terrible looking shoe lol

You won't regret. I threw some black laces on mine and it's simple and clean. I mainly wear jeans so I don't care about the sock liner.
