So I don't know if it's true and/or if it's been mentioned in the thread before, but it looks like there will be another AJ1 restock on New Year's Eve.
Every so often I check to see if shoes have become available and upon doing so a min ago I see that the Breds, Black Toes, Top 3's, Royals, and ASG's will be back out 12/31 @ 1PM. See pics below. Note: Mods, delete this post if it's already been mentioned.

Has anyone ever had issues with the air jordan 1 banned? My shoe keeps getting dirty even after I clean it. Its this glitter/mark that shows up. I clean it and then it comes back. idk what it is.. Like say if I clean it and check couple days later the same mark returns. Its on both shoes.

I haven't read enough to tell you what causes this or what it is exactly, but this is common with 1s that have been stored for a while. happened to me on a pair I gave to my nephew, wiped it off before I gave them to him but not sure if it came back.
some people here have had success cleaning the shoe with a leather conditioner and not having the glitter come back.

Nah I tried the conditioner thing myself and it ain't working. Opened my box up for the first time a while last week and that bish was full of glitter in 2016 banneds.

I wear my 1s a lot. Especially my banneds. I've worn them at least 10 times. Out of no where there's glitter on my shoes. It has me a little worried about my other 1s now. Could it be the sun? Lol hopefully someone in here knows. My friend is having the same issue.

After the whole saga and everyone's experiences and input I think humidity and/or a reaction of the finisher is the most likely culprit.

Same thing happened to me. I haven't worn my pair in months (don't rock hi's in the summer) and I broke them out and was like, add me to that glitter gate list.
I've read quite a few people trying conditioner and that's the route I'll be going once it cools down here.
