Welp Nike just reserved flyknit shadows 1s . They better do the same for the leathers lmao.

Also I just realized something. Every OG 1 that doesn't have a white leather toe that dropped during the initial run has had soft tumbled leather. I doubt they do this when these retro again in 10 yrs

Equality 1's color-blocking is that of the "Split" AF1s or "I'm Back" 10's (black on upper portion, white on lower + midsole) along with EQUALITY. printed on the rear side of the midsole like the Equality AF1s floating around.

They usually come about organically but JB most def tries to float 'nicknames' like top 3s, banned, flu game....1s nicknames usually revolve around colorways like shadows (the retro was no longer a soft grey like the OGs but a shadow grey) or color blocking.

Guess there was a specific time where there was marketization of the sneakers, always thought it was a Home/Away/All-Star/Playoff cycle.
