im still on a hunt for a size 10 DS royal . i am willing to spend $500 for 2013 and $650 for 2001 . i need the right source!

I would rather have a pair of 2013 royals over a pair of 2001s. The '13s are much closer to the og, and I like the shape of them much more. The 01s look a little shorter aswell, almost like a mid cut. I really like all of the og 1s that came out last year, jordan brand did a good job at recreating the originals.

all that matters is the shoe. My royals dont have a stamp either and it didnt even phase me.

IMO the box and stamp does mean something if it raises a red flag. The wrong box or an obvious incorrect stamp could mean that the seller is trying to pull something shady. If so, it pushes me to make a more detailed inspection of the shoe etc.

Now if the box is authentic and the stamp is correct or missing, it does not really add much. I still go through the whole legit check process for the shoe.

Either way, in the end everyone needs to look at the shoe. Boxes, lids, lace bags, etc tend to help the legit check process though.
