Yeah and if you really want something, you can work towards it. Better than settling for things you don’t really want IMHO.Ima be a dog bout my business my whole life I’m not gonna die not living the life I want. My mama told me no, I’m not telling me no
You should double up, pretty sure Nike/JB will be giving them out for free pretty soon lolBeen wearing mine more than almost anything else
This is my only way of thinking settling for the life I don’t want seems like a high price to pay considering we only get one.Yeah and if you really want something, you can work towards it. Better than settling for things you don’t really want IMHO.
Cats don’t appreciate shoes no more back in the day you had to make a pair of royalsMy "Royals"- Painted Laser, Painted Hyper, and Waxed Reimagined
Wow, those waxed reimagineds completely saved the shoe.. Excellent work.My "Royals"- Painted Laser, Painted Hyper, and Waxed Reimagined
I understand the sentiment I traded and built my collection up over time then sold stuff I had for stuff I really wanted. I try not to keep over 25-30 pairs it’s just pointless. Once I get up to that point I usually move the lower appreciated/worn out pairs to buy the higher appreciated // high ticket items. Trade a couple used with a couple new hot items boom you got the shoe you want. Average person doesn’t have 2k to “spare” normally these are sentimental items bought on holidays etc. At least for me that’s how I’ve accumulated most of my grails just to give some transparency.Shoes are only worth as much as the individual wants it to be worth. I passed on a pair of shoes for $200 recently because it felt too steep for that particular shoe, but copped something for $300 no hesitation cuz of the value to me
Someone that has two racks to spare on a single pair of shoes lives a very different life than mine. My problems are not their problems lmao, I have no judgment
I remember in like 2014/2015 when the Kanye/Air Jordan 1 OG Hype was insane and 2001/2013 Royals were almost $1k lolCats don’t appreciate shoes no more back in the day you had to make a pair of royals
Nike got these kids today spoiled they get 50 releases a month just gotta push a button to secure a shoe. Wasn’t no StockX wasn’t no eBay verified you best get the shoe or look at pictures on eBay and read reviews to see if you should pull trigger. Back when even if you had the money you had to put in work to secure a pair. Remember driving a hour to enter a raffle lol the game on easy mode right now if you truly just like shoesI remember in like 2014/2015 when the Kanye/Air Jordan 1 OG Hype was insane and 2001/2013 Royals were almost $1k lol

Craigslist trappers was wild, adults sleeping on sidewalks over night some ppl were literally sleeping on the cement for the black grape 5s, The 7am pull up and ask who selling crew. The 8am ppl pulling up trying to sell fakes out the car window before the store open. Then you got the 8:30am ppl rolling up tryna cut the line, crowd around the door and try to make small talk. Might even start a fight cause they don’t want to go back to the back of the line. Then the 8:50am employees show up and the line get crammed to the door. 9:30 am is like a since of relief. You gotta drive home and post a flex picture on Facebook now sleep until 5pm if you can sleep from being wired all morning cause you’ve secured your pairBruh I remember when campouts were a thing and then that terrible NDC Twitter RSVP system
People would pull up strapped to Craigslist sales meetups with cash transactions so you would have to meet up outside police stations in case the deal went south.
