ok, the critics were right this time, these aren't that hot in hand. I genuinely dig about 80% of them but that plasticy patent toebox is a buzzkill. I hit on the houston af1s so these are getting packed back up and returned because I know I will wear them max 2-3 times tops over their lifetime and my shoe real estate is getting tight

Voodoo Zions arrive today. Hyped up for these. Love the textures and colors. Perfect shoe to wear to death. Definitely swapping in grey laces.

Laces on Zions are braided like old school rope you’d use to, idk, make a voodoo doll in 1800 New Orleans. Really cool effect.

Bunch a pics. Def true to size. Socks crucial to match. Jay killed his review of these w sock combos. The details on these are numerous, the inside smooth lining, insole, scuffs, suede, canvas, crazy stitches, crosses instead of holes, upside down logos, hidden voodoo Zion logos etc…just found another, different sole stitching colors on the shoes w the reversed colors.

The only downside is the pumpkin color tongue. Other than that, they really make you feel like you are putting on some Jordan’s if a blueprint was given to a witch in the bayou.

@wolfman, where are you located? I would try calling boutiques in your area. I know of at least a handful that are getting them late and some that have them in hand but just haven’t put them for sale yet.

I just drove an hour to the nearest outlet a few days ago and they didn’t have an a single retro on the shelves.
