Never got a mobile notification from Vegas neither.
Just did it for Vegas right when I clicked it and showed "30 Secs" from the laptop.
Had 2 different browsers open: Firefox with 2 tabs. 1 on their page and the 2nd tab with the DM and everything filled in.
Then had Opera open with 2 different tabs. The ONLY one that updated first was the firefox one and only 1 tab. Showed "30 secs" the other tabs updated a minute later. Twitter is definitely not reliable for instantaneous communication.
