That toe box looks like it's been ironed out.

Unfortunately that's my one pair of originals that I couldn't find deadstock for a decent price, so what you see sir isn't an ironed toe box, but more of a gently worn toe box shoved full with a sock [emoji]128514[/emoji] That was always a trick growing up before all the shoe trees and stuff lol.

I want em, but I gotta make cuts somewhere this year and I already got Masters for all black. I can't have another year with JB like last year

^man I wanna love them, but the painted midsole keeps me from getting past that glaring issue.

I even love the old school looking friendship bracelet style laces. I remember putting black and red laces of the same style in my original 13s as a kid.

If I can get this with my military discount I'm in for a pair.

I don't believe this will ever be a coveted colorway like the original Altitude.

It's more of a utilitarian colorway for me, one that I can put in the rotation and wear a lot since the colorway
is easy to match with almost anything.

That painted midsole makes them look stupid, but thats me. I grew up on 13 midsole being suede. If others like it thats fine, I don't.

I'll be honest, I was ready to cop these on sight. Then when I saw the painted midsole, and it was an automatic turnoff. Saving up for either Flints or Breds later on in the year.
