I tried to do that a few times but idiot buyers normally just want to do the best offer option so their purchase is protected by eBay.

I modified it. basically i repainted the black lines a dark grey so they looked more like the old retros. i hate the newer elephant print

Depends on the buyer you deal with. Paypal offers protection as well, but lots of people are, like you said, idiots.

I think maybe $500-$550. I've seen a few 88s in that range. I think with patience you can score a sz 13 in the $350 or less range.

you don't sell them on ebay.. do craiglist/twitter/NT and you don't need to factor in that exorbitant sellers fee.. you can sell them at a normal price 300-340.  350+ is robbery.

This is a very limited kick... the likelihood of them buying to wear them is 100%. 

Yup so no problem. Try and sell those bad boys on NT first. eBay will take like over 20% easy after all is said and done with Paypal and all the fees.
