Nobody got these NA IIIs on 2day's Restock?
I got them in a 8.5. DS from 05Actually I can't find any flints my size bro (9) been lookin n lookin it's like they almost instinct in DS condition
I look at these 'restocks' the same way i look at going to the casino/gambling. You really have to assume you lost and be OK with that before you even set foot in the casino. Then if you win, its a bonus, but if you lose you aren't that salty about it - because you never planned on winning in the first place. These "restocks" are next to impossible to grab something from, i dont even bother anymore.
Embrace the yellow!!!! I actually prefer my 2003 pair to the 88s because of the natural vintage color on the heel tab and midsole. I used to get really worked up about all of my vintage sneakers getting yellow and aging, but now I've come to appreciate how it distinguishes them and adds a bit of character to them.
About to buy a pair of these from a local reseller, I've watched a ton of Youtube videos already, but are there any tips you guys can give me so I can make sure the pair I'm buying is authentic? Appreciate it.
Just bought a second pair through eBay for 200 shipped. (Worn once) and yes authentic. Anyone have any paint chipping or cracking ?
My other pair is holding up after about 15 wears.
flint 13s?Yeah over here in Cali 88s going for 400+ but brand new flints 500+
how can u easily know u got GM or not 88's white cement?
plz cant read 600+ pages
325-400
Ok. Thanks guys. Was thinking about selling my 2nd pair. They are worth more than that to me though.
agreed. I'd let them go for 450-500 but even then I'd feel some sort of way about it. I have no problem keeping them. Don't really need the money.I think that's where the sky high prices play a role. There is more emotion involved in these for most people selling is why they are asking so much. Even if I sold a pair for $400-$500, that money will only be good until I get another couple pairs and guess what, I won't have the 88 III's and that right there would kill me. For me the III's go way back to when I was in sixth grade and only 2 guys in town had them, both basketball stars and I used always say to myself, wish I could afford or have them thinking I never will. Now that it's a possibility with the "Nike Air" is bringing back so many memories. So yeah, I feel yeah on meaning part of it.
oh i have a pair that i wear. I picked up a second pair a while ago though, and was thinking about selling it for the cash but its just not worth it to me. Id rather have DS pair of '88s on ice than a couple hundred bucks..Paid double retail for my pair - I didn't bat an eye lash and I love my pair. I wear them. Wear yours and you'll appreciate them more.
Peace
