I personally don't care if a shoe sells out on RD, as long as I get a pair I want, I'm good...my local HOH had some extra MB 4's available yesterday, and I don't regret copping. Its a unique CW and I think they're hot, so I copped( on RD not yesterday)
The fact these were available in the afternoon on RD shouldn't take away from what is a legendary shoe...

Shouldn't we as consumers look forward to releases like this one? I'm done lining up for sneakers, if I can walk into a store in the middle of the day and grab a pair of Retros then that's a win for me. Jordan brand only loses when they have to lower their wholesale prices. That's not happening anytime soon. Call me crazy, but given the fact that that's not in the cards, we as the consumers should look forward to every break that we get. I've looked forward to this release for a while and not having to stress over it is a win to me.

Yes

I would welcome any release like this in the future, no stress no hassle.

For anyone that went a half down like the other fours, do these feel tight to you?

i ordered a 9 and 9.5. will try on both and keep the one that fits better.

honestly, i went to the mall today expecting to see military iv numbers sitting around. didnt see a ton on display but im sure they are still around tho.

I got my stains out with a cloth and magic marker (brown/orange stains) spit and cloth for the grey stains. The brownish ones couldnt come off completely :{

I agree as long as I get the pairs that I like im cool.  hahah   I wish every release was like this.   It makes it easier for me to cop the pairs that I like.  I could care less if a shoe is limited or not.  If I like the shoe I'll cop and if I dont ill pass.

Come on guys, they dont make an equal amount of each size. Tye smaller the population with that shoe size the less they make. Thats why size 11-13 flys off shelves. Cuz we have big feet.

hahah my wife and I had the same brownish orange stains on ours too.

With all the talks about quality, I decided to purchase in person for the first time in a long time. I went to the gym for an early morning workout and stopped by Finishline about an hour before they open. I was 8th or 9th in line so I thought I had a shot at the shoes. Dudes in the front of the line had their full camp out gear out on (blankets, beach chairs, pillows, etc). I asked the first couple of people how long they've been waiting and the guy in the #1 spot said 10 pm the night before. The fourth or fifth guy said since midnight.

The store didn't open until 10 am so they definitely put in some work for this release. They're either crazy or dedicated. Haha. Anyways, they let 2-3 people in at a time and when it was finally my turn, the Finishline employee says they only have an 8.5, 12 and 14 left. My size is 10.5 so I didn't really feel like buying a pair just because I was there so I left. There were about 8 people behind me and they all left too. I wasn't too disappointed because I still had a 10.5 from NTSM Twitter #RSVP but was hoping I would be able to cop in person locally since the drive to NTSM is about 100 miles round trip. On my way home, I called the next closest Finishline and they said they had two 10.5's left. They wouldn't hold the shoes so I rush over there and they still had both pairs. The employee brought out the first pair and they had crease marks in multiple spots. I asked to look at the second pair and they were several creases as well. I decide to cop anyways since I had my Winners Circle $20 off card. Came out to $150 with tax so i'm pretty happy to get these for under retail. I think it'll be pretty hard to find a pristine pair of the 2012 Fire Red IV's. Having owned both pairs of the 2006 "Mars" IV and these, I think they are pretty comparable in quality.

Too many cry babies these days. If you don't like it, return it.
I still like the shoes,  Nobody cryin over here but damn if we spending $160.00 plus tax we dont want a product that has defects on it.     Nobody talkin about returning **** just giving advice on how to remove the stains.

:lol @ people calling this release a flop.

Anyways, I'm happy I picked these up.

As far as colorway goes, these are right next to the Black Cements for the best colorway.

Just incredible.

It is one of my favorite colorways so it is hard to return em. Especially since on sale militaries were the only IVs were the only ones i could get on the last IV run. In fact i am keeping these deadstock and copping a smaller pair on a restock so it crease less.

I will just have to ruin em on an event i deem worthy whenever i decide to unDS mine

My wife and I bought our pairs at the HOH and both of our pairs had creasing on the sides and extra glue marks on them.  I love the pair they look sick but I'm getting tired of the bad quality on Jordans lately.  The only pair that has had really good quality that i got in the past couple of months has been the cavs 4's.

Cav's are probably my favorite cop in '12...

As far as best quality shoes I've got this year would have to be these 3:

Cavs 4s, Las Vegas 1s and AJKO Bred.

Might copp down the line.. but i think m growing out buying sneakers period. I ll prolly just focus on getting my grails rather than copping
Every nice release.... closet full bt m still hunting for mre... doesnt mke any sense... quality been going down... but we still coppin....
Nice shoe though..

Pretty much how I feel. I drop 175 on some kicks they should be flawless...my biggest gripe was they didn't let me swap I checked my pair outside the store and they said I couldn't trade for a better pair because they'd have to do it for everyone

That store is wack.

As long as there is another size still left, you should be able to swap.

When I got there the dude who was handling it told me that they didn't get half their shipment or whatever and that they could only give pairs to the first couple of people that got their RSVP in. Kept apologizing about the situation and asked for my number. Said I would get a call in a few days and that they would be shipped to my house. I don't understand why they didn't post about this on twitter or had people who RSVPd call in so they wouldn't waste their time. I'm not going to lie I was heated(i'm already a hot head) and making the trip out there plus paying for parking made me even more hot. Not to mention this whole crooked RSVP bs already has me saying f these fools.

Damn bro, I would of been heated too. All it took would of been a simple twitter shot out to all the RSVP winners. SMH. Guess I miss out on my pair though since I decided to not even show up. The very few times I get RSVP and this happens. Oh well since they seem pretty available. You would think they would give a coupon or some sort of compensation for wasting time, gas, and parking!

Decided I might end up copping a pair after all, but all the store in my area are sold out of my size. Anyone get a shipment confirmation from SH yet? THinking about ordering from them. Only worried about the pair I might end up with :\
