i might be misremembering but i'm pretty sure they didnt start double tagging champion jerseys until the suns switched to the dazzle jerseys. coincided with a refresh of a bunch of teams that champion still had the rights for (suns, sixers, clippers). the holes in the mesh are also supposed to go horizontally but this might just be a QC issue

They started double tagging in 97-98. You can find some Utah Jazz like that as well
