Official AUTHENTIC NBA JERSEY Post - Bringin Back the JERSEY ERA... (Info/Guide = Page 1)

Looks off & fake yes, and under-neck tag should confirm it, probably a made in China one.

The fake jerseys are so close to the real thing during the reebok era

 I don't go for reebok era jerseys because it's too hard to tell, even in person, let alone pictures.

Bro just hit up the Swingman thread for the LC's on the screen printed replicas....HOWEVER THAT BEING SAID...there are very FEW if any Champion fakes floating around. So 99.99999% of the time any Champion you find is going to be fine.
Thanks brother, appreciate that. I did hit up that thread but was told to come here lol

Edit: did

1 of newest pick ups

never was a fan of that jackets because of that logo... it's soooo horrible

why the hell for so many years lakers get that awful logo? even in mid 90's they didn't change it!

only nike did it correctly in 97/98 season but find gamer in good price and size is impossible

i didn't plan to buy it, but when i found it, couldn't pass

pro cut 42+2, 1991/92 with 100 years of basketball patch

not sure what name will add on back. scott? worthy? magic worn that style once, away jacket at all star game

in preseason games in paris jackets were without 100 patch...

Ok...so I ended up getting that team issued Robinson that I posted a few days ago. Arrived today. A few things...I am happy with the purchase. Jersey is a 54+4 and is HUGE. Dri-fit is very nice though...

So the letter that came with it said it was handled by Cutting Edge Sports in MA. Was purchased in an auction of the original owner of the business (Cutting Edge still does jersey's etc as well). As some of you pointed out it did look like the silver twill was merely glued/heat pressed on. And you were correct, it was. :{

I contacted the seller stating that his listing said that everything was stitched on, but in fact EVERYTHING was only glued. Only the black numbers are stitched to the silver outlines.

His response was prompt. He aplogized and said that many of the items were won in that auction years ago and many of the team issued items were scrapped and kept in house for one reason or another. He then said to simply ship the jersey back to him and he will bring it back to Cutting Edge and have them FINISH the original twill stitch work. Since it seems to be normal practice to glue/heat press then stitch stuff on. All free of charge of course, so I am happy with that.

It is also in the process of getting tailored to a wearable size for me. Should be finished tomorrow, so I will post some after pics tomorrow. The Barkley jersey I gave the tailor is what I told him to match it to. He barely spoke a lick of english so his daughter translated, but I did understand him when he said "Dis no problem, pick up tomorrow 4pm" Here's to hoping he kills it, then I can have it stitched back the right way.

Thanks to @airmaximus as well, we had a few PM's regarding this. However...I did do some more research. Depending on the year the numbers went silver, white, black twill, and some just silver and black twill. So this one is actually correct with just silver and black. But again as I said, I'm happy with what I got for the price and the tailoring is much cheaper than expected after I was quoted a high price from the lady who normally shortens my Rev30's. She didn't not seem very confident when I asked if she could handle this, so I looked elsewhere.

@headdetective

That's wicked fire son, cherish that.

I just love seeing the original vintage jersey. Damn m&n wanna recreate things by the bulk and takes the joy out of seeing them.

Has anyone ordered a Rev 30 authentic from the cavs store? I was wondering if their Kyrie (yellow) has mesh or twill numbers.
