I don't even mind fake jerseys. Authentics being $250-$350 is a joke. I'm not mad at people buying a fake for $30-$40. I still hate the real awful looking fakes that everyone can see they're fake.
it's a special occasion thing for most people. doesn't make much sense to splurge on an authentic, so...^ I don't think average person cares/knows just looks at price.
I went to Turner Field for a Braves game last month. I couldn't believe there were merchandise stands in the actual parking lot of the stadium. They had "official vendor" signs and we're selling fake MLB jerseys. People were lined up too. Crazy how they don't get shut down. Like others have said. If you can't afford a jersey, buy a shirt. Buying fake jerseys don't support your team. It supports some Chinese factory where some kids are probably being worked in dangerous conditions. All so one can wear a god awful looking jersey with a crooked team name and weird *** cut.
Edit: not attacking anyone in this thread. Accidentally buying a fake jersey is a different story. I've done it myself. NFL and NHL jerseys are hard for me to tell. I was just ranting against those people buying straight from those Chinese companies knowing exactly what they're getting. I feel bad for the people at Turner field they see official vendor and probably expect what they're buying is official. Okay rant over.
People only go for the giveaways haha.People go to Braves games?
of course. however, there are well off people who still aren't going to spend minimum 55 dollars (assuming the jersey isn't on sale) on something that can be worn a few times a year. there are quite a few people who don't feel the prices are worth it, even if they can afford itThats why they make 3 trim lines for jerseys though. price point for everyone.
Exactly my point also!!!!^ so then just BUY A T SHIRT. if they want jerseys so bad they should pony up. it's like saying i really want a lambo but i'll only drive it a few times a year so i'll just buy a knock off

when it comes to baseball jerseys there are no good looking fakes. actually i think fakes in every sport look awful with the exception of some nfl jerseys.
that said... yes authentic jerseys are expensive, and probably cost a bit more than they should, but they arent meant for everybody. if it's outside of your budget buy a replica jersey. if thats out of your budget just buy a cap or a tshirt. there are a lot of ways to support your team without buying counterfeit merchandise which in the long run only hurts the team you're 'trying to support'.
Yeah, worn July 8 against the Angels@MikeGasol that from this year? fire
under 100? I need a packers at that priceI don't own any fake jerseys and I've never worn any fake jerseys. I support three teams and each team is worth over a billion dollars. Those teams aren't hurting for money. I watched the Yankees authentics jump from $130 ish to $190 over a three year span. No reason for that. There's no reason these cheap *** basketball jerseys should be $300 or $350, whatever they are now. The NFL jerseys going up from $250-$300 after one season is also a joke. The craftsmanship isn't there for either of those. Elites don't even have the cuffed or shortened sleeves. They're lazy as hell. Some of us are lucky enough to know how to use eBay and can find great deals. Some people are too old and out of touch. I've met plenty of older men that don't mess with eBay because they don't want to buy some fakes or anything and I get that. I hate fake jerseys, most look awful and I would rather not have a jersey than wear a fake but when they keep raising the prices, it makes sense that people would buy a jersey for $50 instead of $300. Especially when 80% of the people can't even tell the difference.
All my NFL Elite jerseys were under $100 and I still feel like I overpaid for those. All my REV30s were $60-$100 and those were poorly made as well. Quality goes down, price goes up.
under 100? I need a packers at that price
