A game where I was very impressed with The Bruins. Thomas with the shutout and we had enough offense to get the win. The defense did well and I was just impressed with Seidenberg for some reason. I mean we all know he has been playing great this postseason but he really stuck out to me for some reason. Chara with the great defensive play in the 1st or 2nd when he broke the 2 on 1 with St. Louis and Lecavalier. Speaking of Lecavalier, Bergeron just made him look silly on the dot.

The hit on Krejci. I was so scared that he injured himself. The first thing I thought of was the Richards hit on him. He hit him clean with his shoulder and Krejci sometimes is a little too fancy with the puck and I've seen so many times Krejci with his head down waiting to get leveled. However, Bergeron should've known that someone was coming to get Krejci. Bergeron should've been more responsible and Krejci needs to know his surroundings.

I was scared for Seguin too. I think it was the first when he tried to split the FOUR defenders who were backskating and he just got leveled and looked like John Elway spinning in the air. I was so scared for my little boy.

PP still sucks so there really isn't anything to talk about in that department.

Peverley. Ugh. Great skater and can handle the puck but he can't shoot for his life.

Just a real workmanlike win last night and you have to give the whole team credit for this win.

Good offense, very good defense, great goaltending = W

Was it just me or did the ice look brutal in TB?

Doesn't it always?   If the ice is barely at "okay/tolerable" here in L.A., I can't imagine how bad the ice is in a tropical state

While we would all think that is the case, there's a lot of stuff that the public doesn't see. Being an enforcer in the NHL is obviously no easy task, and knowing guys who have played/play in the NHL and hearing their stories, there's lots of stuff that goes on in their private lives that we obviously don't know/hear about and would never think they could have the problems they do.

An insignificant example would be when Brian McGrattan was younger, the morning after a drunken night he would count the beer caps in his pockets to calculate how many beers he had the previous night

You're telling me he's going to be able to deal with everything that comes with being a fighter in the NHL and dealing with life after that ends? Him and Emery use to pass out on their front lawns the night before a game (In junior)

Co-sign. It's easy to forget that guys in the show are people.

As far as being a "fighter," it certainly is one of the most stressful positions in hockey. There's little job security, and you're obligated to put your body at risk and throw hands almost every game.
