Sorry to sound ignorant, but how do they differentiate between the sets now then? Different shades of blue or red? Or a symbol on the flag?

The differentiation comes from neighborhoods.  Also, certain Blood sets will wear red, some wear burgundy.  Some Crip sets will wear blue, some wear, purple.  Also, different hand signs for certain sets.  The "B" or the "P" is somewhat universal within Blood sets.

He ain't running around, but he's a certified blood according to himself. How does that happen?
Never said Drake claimed to be a blood, but let's not act like these collabs with game and yg are just for fun.

Wayne walks around reppin' Blood only in clubs, videos, with heavy security or if he's in the hood of a real one.  He and Baby are definitely getting taxed.  That's why Baby "signed" Compton Menace.

Drake doesn't belong in the same sentence as Wayne because he doesn't try to claim it but he's damn sure not going to say no to someone like Game or YG if they come knocking.  Plus, Mustard has done beats for him so I'm sure that's how he got connected with YG.   You'd be surprised how many gang members and artists run into each other in LA.

 and they don't all differentiate themselves by color. There are hundreds of sets within each gang, probably more. Dude gave you two examples and you felt vindicated. They don't all use different "shades" of blue and red. It's not that elaborate. You think them ****** would have a round table to discuss which shade which gang should use

Well, I wouldn't say stupid but maybe more naive.  If you didn't grow up in it or are directly around it, you wouldn't know.  Color doesn't always separate the set within the bloods.  I think Mitchy Slick reps a blood set out of San Diego and they wear green but it doesn't mean that they can't wear red or burgundy.  Hopefully that makes sense.
