As much as im not into that style of music, there can't be any defined path in music where it was "set to be", there should be no rules in music, while yes I agree you can argue the credibility or integrity of music is in question but it is what it is. I feel like there will always be these type of shifts in music with the progression of time. It kinda sucks but it will move on. If you look at the history of music, theres always been emergences of types of music that were pushed back hard at first but then blew up. Hip hop for example....in a genre filled with mediocre, one trick pony, production-driven artists? Who range from ages 17-25, while Future is almost 33 years old?
