yea and the amp. The stock speaker around the car were also replaced.

I need an amp suggestion....

I figured out what the problem was with my system, it ended up the amp is throwing some weird signals out and it blew one of my subs.

So I just ordered a new mmats 2.5 10" so I'll have two good mmats 10" subs now again, but I'm not hooking them back up till I get a new amp.So any suggestions will be appreciated.

Otherwise I'm just planning to get this : http://www.woofersetc.com...-1100-Watt-Amplifier.htm ( an 1100 watt mmats amp)

What voice coil set up are Type R's? If they wire down to 1 ohm i'd pick up one of these on ebay.

So i'm just wondering, I installed an FM Modulator (scosche fm mod 02) in my car today and I have my iPhone connected to it through the dock connector(line out). Every time I step on the accelerator there's a high-pitched whining noise. Can this be fixed with a ground loop isolator or is there somethingelse I have to do to get rid of the noise?

they are optional dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm. But they have a bridging wire to take em down to 1ohm.

i have 2 10'' type Rs btw

onetwothreewic-what kinda head unit do youhave? i'd prefer something like a alpine head unit with an ipod direct cord. FM transmitters are no good.
