OFFICIAL COMIC BOOK THREAD

The Death of Wolverine was a solid read. Can't wait to read the return of my favorite Canadian (sorry Deadpool and Drake)

Come to think of it. I don't think I've read Death of Wolverine yet.

Gonna try to look for it tonight.

Valiant was just bought out. Hopefully this doesn't effect the comics.

Dinesh might be gone too, by the looks of this tweet. Which would be devastating.

Chinese investors when I last looked.

Several higher ups have resigned because of it.

I got my shop to subscribe me to the new Shadowman just last week. I doubt the investors have the same kind of passion for the comics side. :{

Just started doing comic book videos. If you like could you give my latest a view and let me know what you think please.

The news doesn't stop. :wow:

Insta-buy right here. I think Soule's underrated. I'm willing to look past him writing the Inhumans when they were making things difficult for the mutants.

First issue releases on my birthday. Might cop

I just started playing arkham origins after 2 years of having the game. And I just watched Batman : Year One last night and it reaffirmed everything that was going on in the game. Being that both the game and movie set when Wayne first becomes Bats. I needa read the comic now.

Not a big fan of that line-up as the Midnight Sons, but I love Kudranski's art. His interior work for Spawn and Daredevil is pretty sick.

The Hunt for Wolverine Expands into Four Different Series

Wolverine is back…or so it seems. Ever since MARVEL LEGACY #1, we’ve gotten glimpses of what appears to be Wolverine popping up across the Marvel Universe. But is it really Logan?

For a character with as rich a history as Wolverine—even though he sometimes couldn’t remember it all himself—telling the tale of his potential return can’t be contained to just one series. In April, THE HUNT FOR WOLVERINE #1 one-shot will be released, and then in May, four different four-part series will debut that will continue the story. As Wolverine’s past comes back to haunt many a mutant, each story will harken back to an old school adventure.

The event is orchestrated by HUNT FOR WOLVERINE and DEATH OF WOLVERINE writer Charles Soule, with a bevy of talent attached to the various titles. The four series are:

HUNT FOR WOLVERINE: WEAPON LOST (#1-4)
Written by Charles Soule
Art by Matteo Buffagni

HUNT FOR WOLVERINE: ADAMANTIUM AGENDA (#1-4)
Written by Tom Taylor
Art by R.B. Silva

HUNT FOR WOLVERINE: CLAWS OF A KILLER (#1-4)
Written by Mariko Tamaki
Art by Butch Guice

HUNT FOR WOLVERINE: MYSTERY IN MADRIPOOR (#1-4)
Written by Jim Zub
Art by Chris Bachalo

Said series editor Mark Paniccia, “I’ve been holding my tongue, just waiting to announce this project and team of ultra-talented creators. While these stories all reveal clues to the larger mystery behind Wolverine’s return, the writers all have some pretty huge moments planned that will have X-MEN fans talking and debating for some time to come.”

Major Marvel heroes like Daredevil, Kitty Pryde, Spider-Man and Iron Man, will become involved in the story, as they try to track down Logan and figure out his secrets. Each series will also contain its own distinct genre and mystery: WEAPON LOST will be a noir/detective story, ADAMANTIUM AGENDA more action/adventure focused, CLAWS OF A KILLER fits its title with a horror style, while MYSTERY IN MADRIPOOR is a dark romance.

i wonder how they going to explain him still being alive or coming back. or did they already do that? ?

I don't think they explained that yet. Unless they did in the Marvel Legacy issue.

Nothing's been explained yet. Wolvie just popped up at the end of the Marvel Legacy special and has been making random post-credit like appearances in other books.

Four 4 issue mini's before a one shot before something else. They finna MILK the Wolverine cow. When I was browsing the racks today, there was already people asking the shop owner to order them the upcoming Wolvie books. The creative teams on Weapon Lost and Adamantium Agenda look pretty good to me. So I'm def getting them. That's what happens when you starve people of a fan favorite for 4 years. I can't afford to buy 20 Wolverine books a month, but I will.

The 4 year no Wolverine was pretty impressive but they did give us a bunch of Wolverine children and an alt timeline version in between time.

Think they're hoping for similar success when they bring back the F4.

i wonder how they going to explain him still being alive or coming back. or did they already do that? ?
They've yet to explain it but some comic is suppose to but months ago they had revealed he was alive and got out of that admantium tomb casing.

Picked up the Death of Wolverine trade and vol. 1 of Deadly Class. Looking forward to reading this.

They finally released the Action Comics #1000 variants.
