I have the 1.8 now, and its a must have especially if you have to settle with the kit lens because your in college and don't have any cash.

I love it because it does well in low light situations. I bet the 1.4 allows you to shoot in even lower light, and the 1.2 must be extraordinary.

^ Yup...I think it's crazy too, but then again, that's what made me drawn to it, haha...if you have the loot, spend it, if you don't, save up then spend it, haha.
