That was a clean tackle attempt then Costa stepped on the other guys ankle to trip himself
 
If i was in charge:

1) Refs would hesitate to call a penalty/Refs side with defense
2) Refs would hesitate to call an offside/Refs side with offense.
 

I don't even know what to call this. It's not a dive, but it's still a scumbag move similar to NBA players kicking out to get crucial foul calls.

where did they get these refs again? he took hella long to call that offside when van persie made a move for the ball from the get go
 
I actually think it was incidental contact on Costa and the defender. As far as the refs calling that a penalty that's another story.
