That's what gets me. I'm not delusional and think we should be top of the table, but what we're seeing is our effort is what's embarrassing and has been for some time now.

I hate Dier, Perisic, Lenglet, think Hojberg is beyond overrated, Romero has been awful in the second half and Porro has been as bad as anyone. But even all that said they are worse than most relegation sides defensively and that comes down to effort.

Obviously the fact that we went from having two solid defensive wingbacks in Davies and Royal to two wingbacks who literally can’t defend is hurting. But replace them all.
