Very happy with this result and glad that they lost because they weren’t playing well in most of the lead up and IMO not having a consistent team plan and relying on individual play cost them. Relying on vets like Rapinoe and Morgan was understandable but where is the next generation. Perhaps Mal Swanson or a healthier Rose LaVelle helps but probably not. Squad was living off of reputation.

It wasn't really a win. They settled just for the sake of and for the optics of the situation. . In fact, there was no change to their contracts. They are still getting paid the same. That can change in the next contractual discussions, but with them flaming out like they did this year, that can put a dent to it. There was no pay disparity. They were paid differently due to the type of contract each sided agreed to. The men agreed to bonuses which is dependent on wins etc, whereas the women agreed to guaranteed based salary.
