They paid all that money for the rights so that they can attract subscribers though. They’re already very happy with the MLS numbers since Messi.

Messi is unbelievable. In less than a month, he changed the fortunes of Inter Miami and won an international trophy. He did it in style too, scoring 10 goals in 7 matches. It’s still surreal to me that he’s in South Florida.

Messi really like the final form of end of the road superstars in MLS…They tried it with Rooney, Henry, Beckham, Zlatan, Drogba etc but they were all different levels of washed or didn’t have an effect on the league/team , Messi different

Zlatan is the only one that comes close. When he went to LA, it was evident he was still good enough to play in Europe and dominated the MLS competition accordingly. That said, he still didn’t win any trophies. Messi is on another level.
