It’s better, but CBs are taking too long to get the ball to them. Then when they do get the ball, the players in front are all ball to feet players. Better coaching and utilizing the full squad could fix this but Southgate.

Only one running at Slovakia consistently, need more of them to do the same and take advantage of their skill.

Gordon on for Foden would give more spark especially out wide than taking off Saka and moving Foden. That's where they're missing another option like Rash on the wings. Much easier to defend for Slovakia when the only consistent threat is on the right.

They're not a worse team than them, just much worse execution and instruction

Very good point. And it’s not a question of capability. We seen it at their clubs all the players in the backline know how to and when to play the ball into midfield quickly but they never do for England.
