This whole MLS model seriously needs to be thrown in the trash.

You can’t just hire D2 college kids who’d never make it anywhere else and expect it to be a good league.

Then sign one big name every 10 years and all of sudden declare yourself a serious league.

That’s not how football works.
 
I will agree with that.. you don't get trickle down effect from that approach. Bringing in wayne rooney doesnt grow your lower level players.
