He had 3 more goals in his first season. 2nd season he regressed. 3rd season(which wasn't full) he went off and left in the January window.

Yea I don’t look at it like that but I get why it’s important. Especially on the negotiating table.

Doesn’t matter it’s done.

What I want from Porto going forward is to be more calculating.

Antony going for 100 million? Porto need to smarten up.

Boehly personally asked Fofana for the medical to be in NY, so he could see a specialist about his leg break last season.

Lots of talk our end that Chelsea could potentially pull out if Boehly isn't 100%

Look - you United fans can circle jerk each other off all afternoon…..

But like I said.

Figure out a way with Mendes to terminate Ronaldo’s contract. EVERYBODY wins. United can go ahead doing their Dutch thing and save 30 plus million in salary.

Ronaldo can actually be a free agent.

Win-win for everyone.

They want United to pay the wages or an agreed upon amount for that last year… it’s not a mutual termination. Talk to cr7 and mendes.. it’s their issue

Lmfaoooo nice try… maybe he didn’t know the position United was in but his agent sure af did. He should be upset with mendes not advising him better. No way in hell we should be paying him off, or any wages on a loan deal. If he wanted to leave so bad and valued ucl so much why not lower your wages for a year to allow the move. Surely he’s made enough in his life.

United has done so much wrong.. but mistreating Ronaldo is not one of them. Mind you he’s the highest paid player in the epl.. sitting on a bench. Liverpool wouldn’t be in this situation with their stars because they wouldn’t have signed him to begin with.
No one(Me or Coupé It Coupé It ) is saying to pay him off. Both sides can reach an agreement and terminate his contract. He can then go sign elsewhere. You know how much money they made off him re-signing to United? Only united can fumble blockbusters.

No one wants him
He's at United because no one wanted him last szn either. Chelsea don't want Ronaldo. That's why they are trying to get auba.

eh that's not true. chelsea did want him according to all sources including fab but united refused to open talks with another PL club for him

Maybe it’s because you are not a United fan but everything coming from the press is that they want United to negotiate on the last year wages and terminate or allow him on loan and pay those wages. NOTHING.. on him agreeing to walk away, shouldn’t be a surprise considering all of the no’s have accompanied the same “he’s too expensive” reasoning. Sounds like his solution is to adjust his wages. If we are gonna pay him.. the manager can use him however he sees fit. Especially if we continue to win games.

Am I too pessimistic to think Barça may (in some supremely convoluted way) be behind Auba getting mogged? Definitely increase the likelihood of him leaving, freeing up money, etc?

Apparently Bartoméu put himself down, personally, as the guarantor for Koundé's registration fees w/ La Liga. Meaning he's potentially personally liable for any penalties associated and not the club. So who knows what the heck is going on...

I have no issue with showboating...i also have no issue with Forest laying him out.

In our leagues if you are going to dance around be prepared to get fouled. There is always some one who will try some double step over rainbow type nonsense and more power to you if you pull it off...but when some one lays a shoulder into your chest...equally as ok

Chelsea wanted him on a free with zero liability and low wages. So they didn't really want him. They wanted a free handout

They made zero offers

gives me baseball vibes where if you do too nice of a bat flip after a homer you're supposed to get hit by pitch on your next at bat  weak *** unwritten rules of the sport by these grumpy old heads
English footy is full of that type of thinking

They place such emphasis on 'manners' as if it's disrespectful to play the game with some sauce. I'll never ever knock anyone, especially Brazilians for keeping that Joga Bonito spirit alive.

It's part of what made me fall in love with the game and it's been sorely missing in today's super technical focused game. Coaches drill their players to play like machines and we miss out a lot on the artists with the ball.

facts. the outrage over pogba wearing an arm sleeve last year was pure comedy

You saying that Barça are behind the attack?

Damn.

Let’s say that were true. The punishment for that would have to be insane.

Everyone crying out over his treatment

Would've been easy to take a paycut or negotiate one with any of these CL clubs but no one's even offered anything

Yea see.

Yea you’re missing the point.

This just adds to the point that United and Ronaldo/Mendes should figure out a way to terminate the contract.

That’s not 100% accurate either.. Chelsea’s owner wanted him. Tuchel was never convinced because he knows how it can impact the way he wants to play.

I've seen it all

This isn't true. Clubs want him, but United wants a big bag for him.
Hahaha I’m not doing this with you. Show me a single ceo/dof who has said no because United want too much. It’s always been about either he’s too old or he wants to much in wages.
