The "retro" game for footy shirts is wild now. So many places selling vintage kits and what not. They go quick too even rare ones when in not so great condition. Just look at what happened to CFS. Their selection isn't great anymore and the prices have gone up and up. Nike knew what they were doing releasing a retro and making it $150. But yeah I have seen it going for $250+ on eBay and not even in hand yet.

Dude, I went on eBay once I saw that Nike sold out of the R9 Jersey, everyone wanted $300+ in my size, wild.

And with the total90’s, a 98-99 Madrid Kit Retro and retro Adidas NT jackets coming out next year we can safely assume many more Ls are coming.
