Barca’s been the best team in the world since the campaign started, not surprised at all.

After watching Raphina/Vini these past couple games, hard to believe Selecao is in the position that it is.

Vini doesn't really perform for Brasil the way he does RM. Also the rest of that squad is in absolute shambles and the coach doesn't really know what he's doing. Finally had the sense to drop Danilo, but not sure if that was just a one game sort of deal.

I like vini but no way he should have a bdo before Neymar
Neymar came through right in the middle of the 2 aliens peaks so he had some unfortunate luck there timing wise

Things go differently for Brazil in 2014 or 2018 at the world cup and I think he could've had one.

Vini is stamped in his own right but yea definitely a blessing for todays stars not competing with prime Messi and CR7 for the biggest accolades :lol

Vini is deserved. Competition wasn’t great this year but I also think Rodri deserves it too.

Neymar is a genius and one of the most amazing footballers I’ve ever seen. There aren’t a lot of players that get that title. And behind Dinho, the most skillful.
If Neymar would’ve stayed at Barca, he would’ve had one.

also didn't know that Simeone's youngest son has gone up the youth ranks in Atlei and was subbed in today. Doubt that's a first but cool either way

agreeed
neymar kinda got cast in the shadow of messi and i think became comfortable being second fiddle

Besides they year they gave it Messi for winning a copa America which is still strange, the award goes through the CL or the World cup

worldbeefreeg worldbeefreeg just thought you’d know German powerhouse manager just washed Bayern with a midfield whose average height is 5 feet 6 inches. “Built different”
Do you see how dumb your physicality logic is?

It's really not...

La Masia just produces the most technically gifted footballers in the world. You're the exception to the rule, but unless your can just c-section a Marc Casado every-time someone gets injured, physicality increasingly does matter. Technicality will always be a greater strength than physicality in football but physicality matters if your team isn't full of Yamal's, Pedri's and Cubarsi's.

Also, this Bayern team is whatever. It was a great win and you should be happy that y'all have looked like the best team in the world but you aren't going to split open a top prem backline like Pool/City/Arsenal this way.

They gave it to Ron the year he won the Euros and I dont know if Modric would've won if Croatia didnt reach the final in Russia. Feels like yhats always been the criteria, tourneys carry A LOT of weight during international tourney years/seasons.
