Mazraouri has been a real irritant, probably the biggest standout today for Man U

Lisandro real dirty for that
MOTM for United and been the most consistent player this season.

Gonna be interested to see where he fits with 3 at the back cause he needs to continue starting.

Surprised Lisandro avoided a booking tbh

Looked better today.

Forward line is still young. Holjund scores goals when he plays and Garnacho is very inefficient but he creates chance after chance. If he adds strength and develops better ball-striking, the goals will come.

Casemiro has looked like he found the fountain of youth. Much better player when he’s not a DM and can play further up the pitch.

Amorim needs to work on his link up play so his game isn't as one dimensional

His decision making is terrible and he’s not the most gifted technically. Add in that he doesn’t have a natural fit in Amorim’s system and idk, could look spooky for him in the next year or so. Hopefully the new staff can get the most out of him, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets relegated to the bench or sold on in a few windows.

Zirkzee is Dutch, take a bald guess.
Club signing actually 🤓

Getting caught up... so it looks like they had a few half chances that could have/should have been executed better?
The draught continues.

City looked like garbage. Midfield was swiss cheese. Non existent at times. Still had a chance to tie with Haaland and Foden but still didn't deserve it. Should have brought Doku on earlier. Def need to make moves in January to help the midfield or put John Stones in there. Kovacic ain't Rodri

Also the foul on Haaland...dude won the ball then clearly raised his foot. I have seen that given as a red i don't understand how it isn't considered reckless at least a yellow.

Same with the foul on Cole Palmer by Martinez. Dude cleated his thigh. Like they looked at it and decided a yellow was ok but what else do you have to do for a red? Seems like as per usual the consistency with the refs is not there.

Garnacho will be fine. He's 20, the biggest issue with him is that he just is relied on way too much. He's way more effective when he comes off the bench, but we lack wing depth after selling Sancho and he plays pretty much every 90. He's very wasteful but he constantly gets into position other guys don't get into. One of the top big chance created guys in the league, he just isn't really finishing them. But I'm confident, he'll come good with time.

I'm honestly not that worried about our attacking talent. Better coaching and instruction will help create more refined purpose on the pitch which will help guys like Nacho and Rasmus. Everyone gets a clean slate with Amorim, let's see what type of system he wants to institute and go from there.

I'm not expecting **** in the league at this point, but think we need to focus on Europa and make sure we at least win this week.
