Modric just probably just played one of worst halves of football ever. With Kroos out, people really question why we're after Bellingham

Carvajal is to Real what Pique and Alba are to Barca huh? As in pure liabilities on the pitch.

He conceded a penalty just now and Courtois made a brilliant save to stop it but Carvajal was in the box before it was taken so they had to redo it. They scored on the 2nd try even though Courtois guessed right again

Seriously though how does Dani Alves get the call up. Might as well call up Marcelo too

Locker room guy, you expand the squad by 3 where some of those dudes in the 20-23 spot probably won't see the pitch at all then why not call up a veteran? Alves wasn't that bad at Barca last year was he?

We always analyze these lists as if every single player will get playing time when in reality only a little more than half of the guys on the list will see the field at all

What a disaster of a match. Can’t help but think players are checking out before Qatar.

I know it may not be the chief talking point but is Fede Valverde better as a RW than a CM? It feels like he is and if so our best player of the season should be played in his best position.

I know, I get it. But you can buy an army of talented midfielders with €150 million.

At least 3 Portuguese guys. 5 Brazilians. 6 Argentines. And still have enough money to buy a quality RB.

And you guys are trying to tell me Americans don’t need Speed to grow the sport.

The seleçao announcement reaction vids are going viral and they're all wholesome AF :pimp:

Only 3 players from the Brazil '14 squad made it

12 of the 26 are from PL clubs too

I didn’t know players were Selected like this
I thought it was just a set list months prior for all teams - them finding out they made the team like this is crazy

Yea I thought Firmino was nailed on for the spot that Martinelli got but I guess they felt like they already had 2 pure CF's in Jesus and Richarlison already.

His experience could've been useful done the line
