U can be be the biggest raper in the game and not have the streets b. Its a difference in the 2. Lil Wayne can drop a gold album this week and it wouldn't be this big thing on the other side. Whether u wanna believe it or not future is the biggest thing in the streets right now, drake would be getting a free ride down that road.

You're not wrong, but the issue is Drake's bringing buzz to the table, Future doesn't need anymore of Drake's buzz that hasn't been obtained via the "B**ches Love Me" feature or going on tour with him twice now.
Future's bringing game to the table that can't be taught or faked for an extended period of time, you had to live it in some capacity. That's priceless and can be run into the ground if the wrong person tries to prostitue the lifestyle, sound, and/or flow simply because they're running dry on ideas and trying to be cool.

Once again, DJ Skee and multiple others have spoken about this tape being a real thing and a KTT member that works at XXL has said that he heard about them quietly locking into a studio for a week back in June for what he thought might've been a song for Drake's album.
