Not at the level he's doing it and how he's doing with streaming in 2017.
You not really paying attention to the business aspect behind the music if you think there is another rapper doing what Future is doing.
He just put out a 34 song double album basically with 2 features.
He's had 3 #1 albums in the last two years before the month started.
Now he's going to have 5 with songs all over the billboard Hot 100.
He's using his own hotness to propel him towards an otherwise unreachable amount of engagement with his music.
Look how much he's dominated the Internet across every social media platform these past two weeks.
Obviously I'm a huge fan but even objectively you can't deny what he's doing is special.

Future made an album for guys in practically every stage of a relationship. HNDRXX is enjoyable at it's worst and personably great at it's best. This is a good show a versatility, streak continues on.

I Mean in the Technical sense yes him dropping them as separate albums and making them available for sale is new. (although Nelly did this over a decade ago) However literally any artist who's Hot (Sean, Cole, Kendrick, Drake etc etc) could tie up there loose tracks send them out for retail and score #1's everytime (**** Kendrick dropped a surprise 8 song EP, of Throwaway tracks unmixed) and got a #1 out of that.
Future is having an incredible run but nothing about this is an "unreachable amount of engagement".

Future ain't doing some 1st time in Hip Hop **** but this is genius like what he's doing. Just when we think he's peaked and maybe he'll stay or fall a lil bit he just keeps growing and getting better. All these projects combined with the features and people still ain't tired of hearing him cuz the music is always good. Sometimes I'm like "I need a break from this _" but then it's more fire. Jumping between both worlds, making music for the hood and pop radio and it doesn't sound corny. It's been done before but that's some talented ****.
