Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Thanks guys for the Cosmo bar insight guys.
Reps for all responses. :smokin

From the looks of it, For this friday night (June 21st)...it seems like starting off at Chandalier is a good idea...then heading to Bond when things get poppin.
That sounds like a good tentative plan for now. 8)

Are we allowed to take drinks into the buffets with us? Would Wicked Spoon let us bring in one of those skinny tall drinks into the buffet while we eat? :nerd:

That's why you need to stay in constant communication with a host. It's supply and demand. Prices can go up without warning. A good host will (or, should) tell you though, so there's no surprise.

Also credit card authorizations go a long way. It can save you the trouble of increased pricing.

That's why I HATE dealing with hosts. They pull shady ish all the time.
Buddy if mine had a cabana set up at EBC a few weeks ago, showed up the day of and the price doubled from the initial price/deal he had worked out

Difference between a host and a GOOD host. Holla at yo' boy.

Dress code question:

Can I get in with these to all tier 1 clubs?

View media item 457348
Cole Haan Lunergrand Chukka

Also, I'm tired of wearing dress shirts/tie to the clubs. Can I keep it lowkey with some slim fit chinos, lunargrands, and a form-fitting dark v-neck and not have any problems with the bouncers at Tier-1 clubs?

Really depends with who you're with also. If you came in with a v-neck and you have good ratio with some good looking girls you won't be rejected. Go in line with 6 dudes you'll prob not even get let in line.
For the most part look decent, presentable like you thought about what you were going to wear. Just no sneakers and tee's. I mean, unless you're getting bottle service then you'll get away with pretty much anything depending on what you spend.

In terms of how crazy Light is right now...From JC

I would expect a sellout, especially that weekend. Light sold out both Fri and Sat this past weekend. It was at capacity by 11:30 on Friday for Bassjackers.

We are hitting capacity EARLY this EDC weekend. If anyone is trying to go ANYWHERE in town for Friday and Saturday I suggest you book a table or get pre sale tickets because it will be a ***** getting in.

^thanks bro.
That's a little too steep for most of the guys in my bachelor group, were probably just gonna bar it up Friday night at Cosmo and hit XS Saturday.

My friends want to go to PURE this Thursday  :smh:. That **** better be free or else....

Actually went to Pure on Saturday in January.

It was fun but we had a table with 20+ mixed. Don't even think I got at any chicks not in our group.

Place was decently crowded and music was good

A group of my friends rented a house out in Vegas for this whole week. The owner calls me at 10:30 PM, saying the house was trashed by the previous guests. He refunded our money, and now we're staying in one of the suites at The Palazzo

Does anyone know if guests who stay there get comped into the Nightclub? Kind of want to see 3lau and carnage at Lavo on weds.

Okay so we're going to some buffets for sure... (Wicked Spoon, maybe Bellagio)...
but what are some great food joints around the middle of the strip to munch on when drunk or before we go out?
Places near Cosmo/Aria/Wynn/Encore preferably.
Not like 5 star steakhouse joints, but maybe some great burgers/pizza/sushi/chinese... Any recommendations?
And I aint talkin about Panda Express or Sbarro

Cosmopolitan x Pizza = Hidden, Nameless Pizza place.

To find the hidden pizza place, don’t look for a pizza place. Look for what appears to be a service corridor. It’s located between the Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill and the Jaleo restaurant, both of which are in front of you when you step off the escalator. You’ve found the right place when you see a pinball machine at the end of the corridor.

Nothing specific within those casinos mentioned, but still good recommendations.

- can't go wrong with Earl of Sandwich at the Miracle Mile shops(Planet Hollywood)... especially after the club, drunk. $6 sandwiches

- Grand Lux Cafe inside Palazzo. Food prepared by the Cheesecake Factory.

- you guys can take a taxi or drive, but off-strip is the Terribles Casino. Bourganvillea Cafe. Here's their menu. MASSIVE portions, cheap prices.

- Mr. Lucky's 24/7 Diner at the Hard Rock Hotel has a Steak/Shrimp special for $7.77. Ask for the Gambler's Special.

- Peppermill. North Strip. Open 24 hours. Another huge portion, affordable price type spot.

Holsteins in Cosmo quickly became my fav burger place in Vegas.

Great burgers with variety and good atmosphere especially with Marquee being across the hall

There's a little taco shop across from city center. Don't know the name. But they definitely hit the spot when you got those late night drunken munchies.

Thanks guys!
Have taken note of all of those suggestions!

Keep em coming.
Can never have enough good food recommendations for a trip. :pimp:

I will rep you all once i get more reps back. Appreciate the help

Definitely make sure to go to Holsteins. If you want drinks and appetizers before heading out, check out Javiers in Aria. Good for dinner too, but it can get a little pricey

Are there other food spots that any of you would recommend that are good and for a decent price?

Basically just looking to try out some new tastes but mainly get some fuel in my system so i can survive

Cosmo pizza is the best, honestly. It's cheap (relatively speaking), and the wait isn't as long as Earl of Sandwich. Holstein's has great burgers, but it might take a bit longer than you want. You could also grab hot dogs at Pink's (PH), but that's kinda whatever.
