Official "Going to Vegas in..." Vol. II "It was time"

Caught Esco at Drais last night. I now see why you guys recommend bottles and tables it took me an extra 30 minutes to fall asleep last night just from my feet aching [emoji]128557[/emoji]
Not to mentions girls just hover around tables hoping they get asked to join the group. [emoji]128514[/emoji]
 
Was originally planning to go this weekend but kind of glad the trip got postponed and can save some $$. Gonna likely go mid August.

I no y'all have Ive been reading this thread for a min now I live in the high desert about a hour and half from vegas it's my second home, so it's nothing new to me just say[emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127999[/emoji]
 
I tried to tell my boys that MDW was over priced and not worth it but, you know some people won't understand until they experience it.
 
Going the weekend in between edc weekend and 4th of July :pimp:. Always do this weekend, every year. the schedule looking like this:
Friday: bottles at 1oak
Saturday: group still deciding on pool party and night club
Sunday: nightswim of course.

Wanna get bottles at ebc or wet, but it'll most likely break the bank. Rather just go hard at night
 
Here in Vegas right now :

Staying at the Aria, ran into Anthony Davis twice, Damian Lillard, Lamar Odom, couple NFL players.

Hit up Drais yesterday afternoon, G-Eazy was the artist performing, hella ratchets. Henny & Pina Colada slushie is definitely LIT.

Marquee last night, table at the Boombox, not worth the 1.5k, Gucci was performing in the main room. Baddies everywhere.

Tell me how Odell Beckham Jr's homie grabbed my phone and threw it (luckily I caught it before it hit the ground) because I was taking a snap of ODB. :smh: :x Homie is lucky I work for the Feds or **** woulda got reckless and we all woulda got locked up. Not to mention Mayweather's bodyguards were with that group.

Dakid23 Memorial Day Weekend trip report.​

5 Dudes
Dates: 5/26 - 5/29
Hotel: Delano
Clubs: Drai's, Wet Republic & Jewel
Restaurants: Yardbird, Shake Shack, Della's Kitchen, & Strip Steak



Day 1

A little back story... Back in December, My boy and I got hired by a tech company in Seattle after being contractors for over four years with them. We both got a pretty nice sign-on bonus, so we decided to take our boy(s) down to Vegas for Memorial Day weekend. My boys and I flew in from Seattle on Friday evening. Back in December when I copped our plane tickets, I saw that It was only $65 more each way to ride first class on Alaska Air, so I decided to cop! Riding down in first was a great move to start the trip! Especially since you get free Alaska Air Lounge access witch has free alcohol.

We stayed at the Delano My other boy stayed at the MGM. I normally like to stay somewhere in the middle of the strip, but I got a pretty solid deal with the American Express Platinum Card Fine Hotels & Resorts website. For $590 I got the DELANO 2 QUEEN BED SUITE with $100 food and beverage credit and free room service breakfast every morning. The hotel was solid, and I liked that you didn't have to walk far to the Uber pick up station. The first night we went to Jewel at the Aria. My boy was really pumping this place up, so we decided to hit it up. The club had plenty of Yambs! Mostly Snow Bunnies. I'm married, but all 4 of my boys are all single. I soon became the ninth wheel, so I decided to head out around 2 AM and go gamble at the casino. We all met up around 4 AM and headed back to the room since we had the pool party the next day. When the Uber got back to the Delano the entire parking garage was FULL of bad Latinas and Black Chicks my crew and I were confused lol! So we walked into the casino and saw that Light Nightclub had a bunch of rappers performing this weekend. They were upset since they felt it would have been easier to get yambs up to the room if we would of hit that club.

Side Note: I lost my CC that night and never found it SMH.


Day 2

I'm beat right now i will update this post with Day 2 and 3 later this week. 3 out of 4 of my homies got Yambs.
 
Someone school me on nightlife in Vegas that doesn't include clubs, bottle service, tables, pool parties, etc.  Not opposed to it, but I've been there, done that.  More low-key now I suppose.  

I may be heading out there in a couple of months, but if everything requires me to get semi-suited and booted and act fancy, I'm good on that.
