Caps are guilty of the same thing....Laich, Green, Backstrom, AO, etc are ALL out & about in the clubs/bars in DC & Arlington....Originally Posted by GingersAintBad
I really don't get what the big deal is with Richards and Carter. They're bot young, rich, and single. Throw in being an incredibly gifted hockey play and I'd be doing the exact same thing.

The New Jersey Devils dealt veteran forward Brian Rolston to the New York Islanders for forward Trent Hunter on Thursday.
The move will save the Devils a little more than $3 million in cap space for this season. Hunter has two seasons left on his contract, which pays him $2 million per season.
NEWARK, N.J. -- The New Jersey Devils have reached an agreement with high-scoring left-winger Zach Parise on a one-year, $6M contract.
In making the announcement late Friday afternoon, Devils president and general manager Lou Lamoriello said the two sides were continuing to work on a multi-year deal.

An arbitrator gave Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber a $7.5 million award Tuesday.
Weber
The team announced the deal and scheduled a conference call Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report from CBC Sports, it is the largest arbitration award after John LeClair (2000) and Scott Niedermayer (2004) were each awarded $7 million.
Heading into Tuesday's hearing in Toronto, Weber and the Predators were reportedly $3.25 million apart in a dollar figure, with the defenseman asking for $8.5 million.
The Predators filed for arbitration back in mid-June as Weber was set to become a restricted free agent this summer. He will again reach RFA status next offseason if a deal isn't reached.
Weber, who had 16 goals and 32 assists in 82 games this past season, made $4.5 million in 2010-11 and was nominated for the Norris Trophy, awarded to the league's best defenseman.
