Outside of volpatti, no one who fought tonight for the caps will make the team. And volpatti will prob be scratched 90% of the time. Im realy surprised that Looch went with Rechlicz. A few things...

1. Hell of a fight (draw)
2. Rechlicz is a career goon.
3. Rechlicz uses a wood stick.
4. Rechlicz sucks.

what do y'all think of the hybrid icing rule after seeing a couple preseason games? i'm not too big a fan to be honest. i've seen at least 4 or 5 instances where a team gets called for it even when their guy CLEARLY has the edge to get to the puck first. no bueno imo. i get that it'll save some injuries. but there has to be a better way.

I get the idea behind it, but it's got it's clear drawbacks like you pointed out. Some smart coach will find a way to exploit this rule in their benefit.

yeah this is another one. and they're allowed to take off each other's helmets right? one of the bruins and caps fights, both players just tipped off the other player's helmet prior to squaring off and fighting. we should see a bunch of that

IceJerseys would be a good place to check because of their resale market.

ProJerseyTalk is also good if you ask in the Hockey section. Some guys have gems in their collection and could point you in the right direction.

Personally like the new Admirals logos and color scheme.
