+++OFFICIAL JAY Z THREAD+++

Anybody catch a legends of the summer show? How was it? I'm going on the 16th and this is my first concert so I don't know what to expect

Jay my man but that Cain/Abel flip as been done to death already definitely nothing to over analyze or get excited about.

That seasick/seesick flip >>>>

Out of thousands of original lines, people focus on the 100 or so he.... stole from other people. I don't think people understand how "art" but I guess however you understand it is how it is to be understood.

"Good artist imitate, great artists steal" - Pablo Picasso, Baby.

how's the replay value on this holding up?
hold up, am i the only one that thought it was a dope line not just because dealers can use it, but because of how it directly relates to Jay's career as well? maybe i'm too old to remember the late 80's/early 90's

1) "if it wasn't for the 'Caine wouldn't be Able" = drug imagery since he made money selling

2) "if it wasn't for the Cane wouldn't be Able" = bible imagery

3) "if it wasn't for the Kane wouldn't be Able" = Kane, as in Big Daddy Kane who was instrumental/played a roll in getting Jay on the hip hop/rap scene
how does it change the fact that Malice said this on Grindin' 10 years ago? I don't care that he recycled it, but don't praise him for it.

Not good at all. Had to go back to my favorite album of the year.

I still listen to this album all the way through daily.

Be filing papers like "**** on me? THESE ****** TRYIN **** ON ME?!?!"

Great video... Kinda All Falls Down-ish from a viewers perspective, not sure if at it's essence this is more artistic other than the co-sign from the NYC art scene...
