^ Dude, get a turntable!

And man, Renee Olstead has changed so much...

I just love this song...

And not really jazz, but I know there are some Esperanza fans in here...

Haha I will eventually, don't think the avr I have has a connection for a turntable though.

I still enjoy Olstead's newer stuff, she just released an EP Tuesday I believe. Listened to it on Spotify

I've been escorting this visitor around at work today and he plays the bass and his father does as well. Turns out his dad was really good friends with Oscar Peterson, thought that was pretty cool.

Roy Hargrove - Everybody Wants to Be a Cat

Always love watching Amoeba Records What's In My Bag. Some of it seems kinda contrived though.

This song jsut played whilst my iPhone was in shuffle mode... Hope this brother overcomes his addictions & gets back... Been waaay too long since he's had a release.

Diana Krall - Let's Face the Music and Dance (studio & live version)

Couldn't decide on which one to post. The phrasing of her piano is so tastefully elegant & sexy at the same time... Shame she changed her sound...

The run Krall takes at the 2.08 mark... SMH... Thing of beauty to hear...

Grant Green - Fancy Free (Live at the Light House)

Whenever I go through a period of not listening to some Green & come across a track of his, I always regret not having listened to him prior that... Love this live album. Used to cook & clean to this album all the time...

Jimmy Smith - Root Down

Same thing with Jimmy... I was like "Hell Yeah" when the Beasties sampled this jawn...

I think a lot of turntables nowadays come with built-in preamps, so you'll just need an audio-in!

Did his dad ever record stuff with Oscar?

Anyway, I just bought this album... had the Christmas album, but not this one...

Gideon Van Gelder - Victory Joy Dance & Cais (ft. Lillian Vieira)

One of my favorite jazz releases of this year.

Duke Ellington & John Coltrane - Big Nick

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

These songs always got played on Thanksgiving for me.

Miles Davis - Fran Davis

Ray Charles - One Mint Julip

Haha that's pretty cool, I've only see a couple episodes of Homeland.
