Official Jordan Brand Release Discussion thread....

I feel theres been a lot of discussion lately about what should've, could've, would've, and should Not have released. Not only about Air Jordan 1's but the whooole signature line. Also, not just samples but 1of1's, PE's, prototype pairs that didnt make the cut, & etc....

Also shedding light on some history on certain releases would be great for the younger folks too....

Release rumors and solid mock-ups are also welcomed..

Yeah I really think they're holding back on a lot of great retros for no obvious reason. I feel like the first 3 to 4 colorways of every Jordan signature shoes should've been retro'd by now. Every two years, I'm tired of seeing either the grape 5, a bred 6, or an OG 4. Despite their mass consumers, we're their connoisseurs & enthusiast of the brand. I wish some type of semi voting system was developed...

& yes, the Jbalvin1's get a pass in my book. Could've done a better representation for that artist and fan base/community...

First few things everyone is going to say is those black XIII lows, Cherry XIIs, Bred XIV, College XVIIs, Black tongue red Vs, and all those PE XXXIVs that we will never see lol. Here’s two of my favorites no one talks about,University of Florida XIVs, trophy room XX1.

As far as should have never released let’s start with Oreo LS IVs and those Basketball leather XX2s. Or how about not putting zoom in the forefoot of the retro XVs.

None of them for me but I do remember grabbing the burgundy pair on clearance for 100 back in the day. Not my favorite colorway but it was solid.

I'll take those fire red V's with a black gate like they did with the low's.

I'm still thinking about coppin the last shot XXX2's and taking that yellow eye off. They're a true looking bred without it.

How bout no. Jb instead just retire the 11 for the next 5 years. We valued that model so much more when we didn't have it every December.

They've been running the same play damn near every year since like 08.

The 11 used to be special, now's it's just one of the other 200 releases we get every year.

I definitely feel this statement.
I'm also tired of the high cut boot look too.

Jb stop the usual annual 11 release and randomly drop this low. Or something like it.

Exactly..im a huge fan of 2s..i had to settle with the Alumni Pack pair..which are not bad at all in my opinion..but I'd much rather have that og colorway

The Kubo pairs wasnt bad. Just cant get down with mismatching pairs.

Cherry 12’s being cycled so slowly doesn’t make sense. Especially since the last pair sucked so badly.

would like the real fire red 5’s (assume they are coming soon, Nike Air), Playoff 13s, 17s,18s, and 21s.

I’m a little surprised we haven’t seen some of the popular team J’s like the FBIs. We all know they are going to go on discount regardless, so stop hitting us with the team 1’s and get us to the early 2000’s where the tech is playable.

They made shadow and black instead for playoff 9s. If you think about it, "Shadow" was the wave with Jordan brand for a minute.

Starting with the Playoff 7s being a contrast black, that was almost Shadow.
The Aqua 8s had a Shadow ankle.
The Playoff 9s were Shadow.
The Playoff 10s were Shadow.
