Yes back in the day shoes came unlaced from the manufacturer. I would always have to lace shoes up when working at Champs in the 90s.

I remember selling my 2003s. That was a big mistake! With that said, I reacquired the cw in the 2016 iteration.

My favorite sneaker of all time is the Playoff 12. My pair from 2012 is still DS. I’d definitely scoop up triples if/when they retro again!

I like when they keep it simple. Like the black/yellow, black/royal pairs. Thems good execution.

The thing with 12s and 13s.....a black upper with any color will work. Blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, whatever. I don't care, I'd buy them all

The XII is a simple shoe, you really have to try hard to screw up, but we're talking JB so you know how that goes. Leather upper (especially black or white) and midsole and it's an automatic win.

They do, - 13s are nice and kinda simple like the 12. If there was a SBB 12, I'm fearful white or a 3rd color would be at play...black and orange upper...with something random like a white sockliner to screw it up

Plenty of screw ups with the 12. Imo, there aee more bad retro + colorways than good ones. Once the panels start being thr same color as the upper the shoe is pretty much ruined imo. Look at the reverse taxi 12s. Nothing reverse about them. We already had a reverse taxi 12, they are known as the playoffs.
