Yea. These SB 6s are the priority. If I strike out for some unknown reason, CBTS will be copped on disco.

Like plenty of people have said, these are some of the most comfortable sneakers I own. I'm for the move to UA, but right when it seems like they nail the comfort and look, it's DOA.

Naw it wasnt that he dropped out as a business tactic. I blame jay z and kd being a damn puppet for doing that. That should have gone beyond nike. you are representing your country

That's probably what happened. He didn't felt "tired" when he was first invited to the team, he felt "tired" when contract negotiations with UA started heating up. Really dissapointed in KD, and I'm from Spain, so that.

I honestly don't think the Nike/UA stuff had anything to do with it whatsoever.

I'm pretty sure that was a factor too, just not the main one. BTW a guy from the Eslovenian national team was wearing the KD7 USA against Team USA in the game played today in prepataration for the World Cup here in Spain. It felt...weird.

As said before KD is still promoting nike products as he's on his way out the door.

Why would Jay-Z (not really Jay-Z) advise him to not play?

You think UA's feelings would get hurt and they would pull the deal off the table.

UA knows who KD currently works for, him doing his job will not affect negotiations.

Def a good read but I have a hard time believing all the view points especially since it doesn't account for the future price of kd shoes going up along with kd now getting multiple shoes per year like the elite ext etc which would help make up costs.

Ah ok. They still can bring it over here and drop some hypebeast colors like they did with the Kobe venominons to get more sales. Those used to be Asia exclusive too

My thinking is pretty much like this: Nike can make money the question is do that want to pay it out? Lebron makes more than everyone else combined and probably will for next couple of years and this will give nike time to groom Kyrie to be there next star, especially if Cleveland can bring home a championship! Can't you see it now, lbj and ky double championship pack with one sig from each, they could charge any price!

Technically he doesn't work for Nike anymore. His nike deal expired a couple of weeks ago. That's why everybody is reading so much into the instagram pics...he can literally rock what he wants but has chose to stick with the swoosh.

IMO KD wants to stay with Nike. I'd be wearing every other athletic brand imaginable to determine where I wanted to sign next, and if their gear worked for me. I wouldn't wear what I didn't have to unless I really, REALLY liked it. I think KD really likes Nike but under armour's offer may be too great to pass up.
