**Official Kendrick Lamar Thread 4th Studio Album ''DAMN.''Out Now**

Nah. Occasionally cats would walk by and bounce a little to it. We camp in roughly the same spot every year and we've been bringing that hip-hop vibe for six years now, so out neighbors know what to expect. There's a lot of room where we're at so it's not obnoxiously loud to our neighbors either. People are really just happy to see other people vining out enjoying mother nature and music. It's an amazing festival.
REPPED for letting it knock out loud.
Sounds amazing

"Complexion" is my new joint i have on repeat in car before it was "if these walls ....." and "Alright" man this and Curren$y PT3 are the only current rap albums i listen to

Been having a difficult time getting into anything currently out since this dropped. Album is flawless to me. I think I've said it before, but I love the live version of "i" on here. Fits so well in the context of the album.

It's really out of this world how he was able to follow up GKMC with this. I can't even believe it.

Boy you exposing yourself as a goofy on here lately.

Kendrick Lamar HIMSELF said it's an unreleased interview he got from someone in Germany.
the interview starts at 7:00

its really something. the more i listen to the album the more i appreciate it for reasons outside of the content itself. like..im so happy to hear REAL music drop in a time when nobody wants to make real music. im thankful he had the balls to drop this. im thankful to hear something DIFFERENT, FINALLY. And seeing people rock with it the way they do restores some of my faith in modern music. It's not dead yet. Thank God.

i keep listening to the ending of for sale? frickin LOVE the outro on that man. soooooooo smooth. the entire song from start to finish. i dont even know the timeframe of when beats like this were prevalent. sounds like gameshow theme music from the early 90s. and i love the juxtaposition. "Lucy" trying to snatch up that contract while everything sounds so beautiful and happy.

my baby when i getcha getcha getcha getchaaaa

oh oh oh OHHHHHHHHHHHHOH (something about how they sung this line reminds me of we major from kanye)

you said to me

you said your name was Lucy

I said wheres ricardo?

you said oh no not the show!

Eat what words? You said listening to "rumors" as if ****** heard that on WorldStar...when Kendrick Lamar himself said that he got exclusive audio from someone in Germany.
i never debated where he got it. i said he said it was one of his favorite interviews, and he chopped it. YOU said it was an unreleased interview, as if he went to a random dude in Germany that tupac ran into in the street and gave him an interview that never came out until now. YOU said ive been acting goofy lol.

it looks like....

ya dun goofed.

I was having a discussion with my boy and he said J.Cole's g.o.m.d video should of been the king kunta video and vice versa. what you guys think?

No. Video was what is was supposed to be. "Take it back to the hood N_" is right in the opening line.

I also believe the same exact thing.. The videos fit the concepts of the songs so well :rollin

I thought the same thing. King kunta should of been some slave rebellion type ****. But it was the typical hood video.

I honestly didn't know what to expect with the King Kunta video but it's pretty good.  It is a typical hood video, but there's a different energy to it, gets you pumped...idk its wierd

The energy is different because it was filmed at the Slauson swap meet which is closing.  Huge LA staple and the community is feeling a certain type of way.

word, I'm really familiar with the swap meet, didn't know they were closing it down though, interesting, is it just developmental progression as they'd call it?

Don't get me wrong i love the Video for King Kunta also... But it's funny how the concept of King Kunta would also fit in a way. Those two have a crazy synergy musically, that's the one collab album i would love to see.

Based off interviews and music they seem like two very like minded people with similar goals and i think they would connect perfectly on wax

It was filmed at the Compton Swap Meet not Slauson. Slauson Swap Meet is in LA proper.

The brail in the booklet means "A Blank Story by Kendrick Lamar" it's the subtitle like "A Short Film by Kendrick Lamar" on GKMC
