Giving CP3 different looks gave him fits in game 2 and in game 3 Kobe and the rest of the guys also did a great job on him.
The two games they've won have been because CP3 has had incredible games. Not sure why Phil changes the game plan with what worked. I'm guessing Fisher felt a little disrespected, but he should be used to getting owned by every PG in the league by now.

Kobe plays through any injury even in the regular season.
As far as Lebron, you don't know that. He faked his elbow injury last year and "played" through it, but that's another story.
But back to the Lakeshow... what an odd playoffs it's shaping out to be. Spurs are STRUGGLING, if they get eliminated it makes our road TO the Finals a lott easier. Dont get me wrong though the Lakers are definitely not playing anywhere near championship basketball.
Whyyy do we always insist on making things soo much more difficult than they need to be during the playoffs? Either way we better get that W tonight and actually play some defense. We did the same exact thing last year and ended up killin' the Thunder by like 20+ in Game 5 of the 1st round, then Gasol got that little tip-in during the final seconds @ OKC in Game 6 to put the series away... lets hope we do the same this year..

I feel like we have to struggle in order to grow as a team and get themselves psyched to play at a higher level. The proverbial "switch" doesn't get ticked on until they are really pushed. It's a recurring theme with these Lakers, I feel like it's reflective of their leaders in that they know they can play at another level but don't want to kick it into gear unless they really have to.

kobe's ankle gotta seriously be injured if he refuses the mri. i know you wanna win number 6 but dont ruin your career for it. i have faith that the lakers can beat the hornets without kobe. the lakers actually play well without kobe. he should think about sitting it out for a few games.
i bet he wears high tops or a modified version of the kobe vi or hell even the kobe vii tonight if he does play. lol iknow you guys sayhightops dont matter but from a mental aspect it does especially ones that have good ankle protection. and them rose high tops dont count. those things are flimsier than the hyper rize

But to be honest, I get the feeling he's sandbagging as usual. He'll come out and drop 30 and everyone will be with the "oh what a warrior" type press.
If it really is truly bad, then I agree, he needs to sit. It will FORCE Pau and Lamar to play like Pau and Lamar actually, and that would be a good thing. Kobe could be in the lockeroom in warmups just in case we need that Mariano Rivera type moment.

also kobe can really be a good decoy out there. teams would double team him even if he was in a wheelchair out there.
thing is i dont know if kobe can be a decoy. the temptation of shooting the ball might be too muchfor him to handle with the ball in his hands

Ha. You know Kobe is hurt but he doesn't want anyone to know how severe, if that.
I understand now why Kobe refused the MRI, why would he want his opponent to know what's wrong with him? Smart man IMO, and one hell of a competitor.

I notice when Kobe was hurt late in game 4. He was telling and demanding Lamar to drive the ball to the hole to create some fouls. Lamar took Kobe order like a biatch
and drove to the rim like Lebron lol . Im surprise Kobe didn't do that more often to Pau and Lamar. Tell them to man up and take it to the hole and create foul trouble for the Hornets If they drive in like that more often i think Laker would have won game 4. Had the Lakers play with some anger in them this series would have been over by today. Smh now they have to fly back to NO for game 6 and possibly have to fly back again to LA for game 7 . Hopefully Kobe break out a pair of 2k4 tonight

You guys make it seem like Kobe purposely wants the attention or something. If he did he would of said his ankle is destroyed and he's still going to play. Instead he plays it off like it's fine.
Not his fault if the media makes more out of it, imo he's trying to avoid the attention from the ankle injury.
Another thing though, yall remember last year in the playoffs when the main focus was his hand and knee, teams purposely took hard fouls on his bad hand...Specifically in the utah series.

like i said before those were the flimsy crazy lights which both rose and collison were wearing when they got injured. they arent wearing them anymore...
maybe its just me being a shoe fan but id love to see a modified kobe vi or the kobe vii which is rumored to be a mid top shoe.
